I didn't feel like doing any cutting, you get all the crap that I recorded. I start with a G Minor blues song called Green Onions, by Booker T. and the M.G.'s.
Then I play a bossa by Chick Corea called 500 Miles HIgh, as you may be able to see in the Real Book.
Then I look through the book to find So What, the famous modal song by Miles Davis off his famous album Kind of Blue. I play the head with an actual bass voice because I'm just cool like that, followed by what I think was a fairly decent solo. I may have lost the form a little, but it sounded good, and it's solo piano, so I can say "screw the form" if I want to.
Then I set up a little thing on the computer. A basic little beat, and a funky keyboard setting that I've been working on perfecting for a while. Just some free messing around in G Minor. Unfortunately, it's cut off, due to Youtube's length restrictions.

Taken from pilot episode of a yet to be produced comedy series - No Skillz. Part 2 features Stephen Merchant.
Right now we don't have plans to make any more episodes of No Skillz because we're busy with our new series, Christie. It's available online at our website, the first episode was posted on 24 April 2008 and the others will appear weekly.

STORY: Christie is one of life's dreamers. Having lost his job, his clothes, his girlfriend and all of his dignity he decides to turn his life around. With the help of his small band of rather odd friends he starts a five a side football team called "No Skillz" and enters them into the local Power League. Christie's attempt to win back his girlfriend Ruby backfires when No Skillz are humiliated on the pitch and Ruby takes a fancy to one of the opposing players. But all is not lost for Christie as Nicola, the attractive Power League receptionist, is charmed by his naïve enthusiasm.
