A music video I made for Sweet Home Chicago by The Blues Brothers using clips from the 1980 classic musical comedy. This has always been one of my favorite films. The comedy, the music, the outlandish stunts with Aykroyd and Belushi in the middle of it all made them one of the great iconic duos. It pains me when I hear the speculation that an eventual sequel was talked about once the film became a box office hit - but then Belushi's premature death occurred. I would have loved to have seen how they would have continued the adventures of Jake and Elwood. Possibly it would have failed and had been a disappointing followup, unfortunately we'll never know. I still can't bring myself to watch Blues Brothers 2000. In my mind once Belushi died, so did the Brothers. I've been meaning to go back and redo this video, I've never been completely happy with it.
