N.C. TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM "STARS" IN "LEATHERHEADS" FLICK SPENCER, N.C. When rail fans and residents of Spencer and Salisbury flock to see the George Clooney movie "Leatherheads" opening today, they might keep their eyes peeled for glimpses of the N.C. Transportation Museum. Known for evoking America's bygone romance with trains, the site was used by Universal Pictures for the film. "Leatherheads'" final scene even features megastars Clooney and Renee Zellwegger silhouetted against the museum's historic backshop and its "Be Careful" sign, as the characters ride away together on a vintage motorcycle. from http://www.ncculture.com/ Transportation Museum http://www.nctrans.org/about_us/history.php Leatherheads http://www.leatherheadsmovie.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leatherheads locomotive george clooney renee zellweger leatherheads shay trains ford North Carolina culture museum destination travel log [Mas+detalle]

This video is centered on the events that occur in Stephenie Meyers novel "Eclipse" This video is in Edward and Jacobs point of view. The first half is Jacob speaking to Edward letting him know that he feels that he is a better choice for Bella, and the second half is Edward speaking to Jacob. Special thanks go to: "SMSLAX77" for suggesting this fantastic song. Cacassandra for sending us clips of Robert Pattinson & "Thelizzard" for helping us out with the intro ;) Extra Notes : We tried to mirror many things that happen in the book, from jacobs worry of edward turning bella to the constant rivalary between jacob and edward. Here are a few areas we touched upon. We did not make this video in order of events from the book, we just tried to focus on the main dilemma between Jacob Edward and Bella. 00:12- When Jacob tells charlie about the motorcycle and bella gets in trouble. 00:28 - When Bella feels as though she might have more feelings for Jacob other then just being friends, and edward notices this. 00:39 - Before the battle with the new borns when Jacob serves Bella as a body heater and Edward is watching. The love scenes in the video are mirroring the fact that Jacob can do things with Bella that Edward can't. 01:39 - Edward is remembering the pain he went through when he was away from bella. This is him letting Jacob know that he has also suffered. 1:47 is when Edward goes into Jacobs mind and Jacob allows him to see the state in which they found bella in when he left her. 1:55 - This is Edward thinking about when he will turn Bella, and Jacobs worry in not wanting to let it happen. Other then that, the rest is self explanitory. Enjoy. Honours Mar 2,08 (13)# 1 Top Favourite... Global!? Filmato registrato nel Giugno 2006 - Musica di Richard Band - Cantos Profanae (Troll Soundtrack). Si sconsiglia la visione a soggetti sensibili ad anormalità umane e animali- Prodotto da Konserva Musée Dupuytren From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Musée Dupuytren is a museum of anatomical items illustrating diseases and malformations. It is located at 15, rue de l'Ecole de Médecine, Les Cordeliers, Paris, France, and open weekdays except holidays and university vacations. The museum was established in 1835 by Mathieu Orfila as the Museum of Pathological Anatomy of the Medicine Faculty of the University of Paris, with the bequest of Baron Guillaume Dupuytren, anatomist and celebrated professor of surgery. The museum was installed in the old refectory of the Cordeliers Convent, gathering collections from throughout the faculty. Its first catalog was compiled between 1836 and 1842, and listed about a thousand specimens. By the late 1870s the museum contained over six thousand pieces. The museum began a slow decline, however, from later 1800s despite continued acquisition of new collections, and its upkeep became problematic. In 1937 Gustave Roussy ordered the museum shut, with many items subsequently lost or destroyed. However in 1967 Jacques Delarue (1901-1971) brought the museum back to life with a general refurbishment. Today it still retains a superb collection, including specimens dating from the 17th century, as well as wax anatomical models, books, and photographs. Among many other notable items, the museum contains brains of aphasic patients, preserved in alcohol by the celebrated anatomist Paul Pierre Broca, and used in his research in the localization of brain functions. Gorgeous architecture, Amazing vistas of L.A., extraordinary gardens and landscape architecture, and an art collection from classical antiquity to contemporary photography and multi-media installations, the Getty Museum is by far the best art museum (and cultural center) on the West Coast. Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, the J. Paul Getty Trust commissioned architect Richard Meier in the late 1990s to build a remarkable campus to exhibit art, facilitate innovative research, and assemble a public space for visitors from around the world to gather and appreciate the creative side of human kind. A commission of a lifetime, the Getty Museum's budget was approximately $1.2 billion, with the remainder of the art trust at around $3.0 billion, demonstrating a greater perspective on the priorities in life and culture. The architectural modernism of Meier shows influences of such 20th century visionaries as Le Corbusier. It is said that Meiers sat on the site before designing his master plan so that he could orient the axises and find the most effective site lines along with seeing how the light changes in the course of a day. The bright travertine stone imported from Italy and the broad, volume-metric grid contrast dramatically with the rich blue, Southern California sky. The collection includes such masters as Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, Gauguin, Degas, and secondary artists of the Renaissance, Romantics, Baroque, illuminated manuscripts from the middle ages, decorative arts, and ancient sculpture, along with contemporary artists and special exhibits. Admission is FREE, so you have no excuse not to visit one of the most extraordinary sights in the greater Los Angeles area, let alone the Western United States. Think L.A. lacks true culture and the thought of pointless young Hollywood stars and other so-called L.A. attractions bore you to tears? Well, make it up to the Getty and you will not be disappointed, granted you still have a pulse. There truly is something for everyone. Music Respectfully "Recently" Dave Matthews Band. P.S. I'd say they have an art endowment large enough to purchase my painting: "Visual Rhetoric" and provide me a grant or artist in residence to create more work, continue to develop my Spective concept, and possibly travel to do more multi-media artwork around the world. One can dream; sounds good to me. In any case, the sanctuary acropolis of the Getty Campus found North of L.A. is a marvelous place to spend an afternoon! [Mas+detalle]
