Hugh Jackman sings 'Oh, What a Beautiful Morning' in the 1998 National Theatre (London) production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'Oklahoma!'
Hugh graduated from Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts in 1994 and quickly won major nominations and awards in Australia for his musical theatre roles in "Beauty and the Beast" and "Sunset Boulevard." "Oklahoma" was his first leading role outside of his home country.
Starting in 1998, Hugh's career went into high gear. His first two films were released in 1999, followed by his 2000 role as Wolverine in "X-Men." As of 2008, Hugh has appeared in almost 20 films.
Hugh continued performing in musical theatre as well. He won the 2004 "Best Actor in a Musical" Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for "The Boy From Oz." He's hosted the Tony Awards twice to wide acclaim (and one Emmy Award).
