Derek Dances to Grandpa's Guitar
My dad is in a group called Joshua Creek (for more, look up the username joshuacreekmusic) and he has a song called Grandpa Was a Rock Star that Derek loves. Here he is in his Sunday dress.

My dad got a FLIP camera so here we are playing with it while Derek does some of his own work.

Derek does so many things that we love. His Uncle Mike taught him to say "peace!" the last time he was around in the summer. This is to show Mike he still hasn't forgotten it.
Well, we also think him opening his mouth on camera is still funny too.

I have word that people like watching Derek open and close his mouth. Here is the first one we did like that. This was taken a few days ago using my Macbook.

Derek does the Hula from Little Einsteins and shows off his Pluto impression. He likes to open his mouth when he sees himself on the camera.

This is pretty old, but I put it on the site anyway. Lilly turns 2. She got a leotard for her birthday. Her dad is a gymnast. It sounds like retard to most of us.

Derek has taken a few steps before, but not like this. Just one or two at a time from table to couch.

My brother Sterling and my sister in law Natalie ran for student council this year. This was their assembly based on Hairspray. THe assembly stuff isn't shot well, but we wanted to get everyone in frame.

Derek dancing is so funny. He likes to sit in the back seat and bob his head to the music.

We went to Disney on Ice a week ago. It was great fun. Derek's new thing is to lead music whenever he hears it. I think he picked it up at church.

This is my brother's student council video. People think he looks like "Ned" in that Nickelodeon show, "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide." So he did a spin off on that.
